My Properties

Together with my husband, Robby, we’ve slowly become full-time real estate investors. We personally operate all our properties and love the flexibility and direct control over our success that owning real estate offers. Our primary home eventually became our first investment property in 2013 when we couldn’t sell the home and decided to try our hand at renting it instead. We now own and maintain a sizable real estate portfolio and love talking real estate!

Long Term Rentals

We own 8 single-family long term rentals in Jefferson City, Missouri, which has been a great market for us. We utilized part of the BRRRR strategy (buy, renovate, rent, refinance, repeat) to acquire outdated homes, renovate them and then rent them. Our tenants tend to care for the homes as they personally own them and stay for years. This has been a slow strategy to wealth because cash flow isn’t great in the early years. Over time, with market price increases, inflation, etc., we’ve increased our rents but the mortgage has stayed the same, thus increasing our cash flow over time.

Vista Vacation Homes LLC

We took our first crack at jumping into Short Term Rentals (STRs), or vacation rentals, in 2020. We were lucky enough to have completed the transaction before the market went through the roof and real estate values doubled.

This is a single family home right on the lake in Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri and offers guests a newly renovated home with a boat dock, boat lift, kayaks & a paddle board, a quiet cove and about a 10-minute drive to restaurants, the grocery store and numerous other attractions.

Niangua Hills Resort; Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri

After finding joy in hosting guests at our lake home, we went all in on an outdated resort on the other side of the lake in Camdenton. Originally named Singing Hills Resort, then later changed to Irish Hills Resort, this original 1940s Mom-and-Pop style resort was long due for an overhaul.

We renovated nearly every inch of the property. A total of 12 cabins got new exterior paint, new flooring, new paint, new appliances and furniture, and new kitchens and bathrooms . Three homes got all new furniture. This property now has a total of 15 units and is open from March 15-November 30 each year.

It features tons of great amenities such as a swimming pool, kayak/paddle board rentals, a boat ramp, boat slips, an enclosed fish house, a laundry room, a General Store, self check-in, a playground, yard games, located in a quiet, no-wake cove, and has a boat trailer parking lot.
